Semiconductor Process Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Support fab operations, trouble shoot process problems, guide & train colleagues for new semiconductor processes
  • Design and develop respective new & existing processes as a part of the multi-disciplinary team
  • Review the specifications to determine the procedures, testing, and routing sequences required to meet the dimensional requirements
  • The responsible for a variety of work phases assignments in the production of the semiconductor lasers in the cleanroom
  • The knowledge of the various cleanroom stages; manufacture and testing of semiconductor lasers and related equipment
  • Responsible for participating to the development of unit process blocks and working with the process and design teams.
  • Drive continuous process improvement efforts for production phases.
  • Lead the way in resolving all process and integration issues by working closely with all process technician team and engineers

Qualifications

  • Background in the semiconductor, electronics, pharmaceutical or similar industries, as well as experience in computer-aided production and quality management is beneficial
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Understanding of one or several areas of semiconductor laser process, production technology, and products
  • Experience of working in the cleanroom and working with vacuum, gas, RF, deposition and other systems as used in semiconductor factories is a requirement – production environment experience is a plus
  • Strong statistical and computer skills are required for data analysis as well of working knowledge of Microsoft office tools
  • Demonstrated high academic records and demonstrated ability to complete things that you start
  • Team-player who both shares and also listens
  • Work requires dexterity, hand skills and focus

  • Ability to solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and perform root cause analysis. Will be required to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
  • Previous experience working in shift work is also a plus
  • The position requires highly motivated, extremely organized and self-driven individual
