Modulight awarded a $1.8M contract for high-power laser diodes

San Jose (CA), January 31st, 2006 Modulight Inc. announces that it has received a $1.8M contract from Technology Development Centre (Tekes) for the development of high-power laser diodes (HPLDs). This contract is a cornerstone for further development of Modulight’s HPLD product line. It will enable us to dedicate more resources for this product line without sacrificing the profitability. Modulight to deliver world’s first telecommunication laser diodes for space application

(Finland) and Contraves Space (Switzerland) announced today that companies have entered into an agreement on delivery of fiber pigtailed laser diodes to European Space Agency (ESA) – for the Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity (SMOS) satellite mission. Modulight announces two analog fiber pigtailed laser diodes for CATV

Tampere, May 18th, 2004 – Modulight, Inc. (Tampere, Finland) announced today two new laser products for Cable Television (CATV) and other applications requiring analog transmission of signals in optical fiber.
